As a QA you will be responsible for ensuring that all customer specifications are being met and products are only released according to the specifications, whilst improving efficiency and profitability by reducing waste.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • To ensure Raw Material Goods are processed accurately and efficiently onto the Rubicon system.
  • To ensure that Goods (cut & pot) delivered met the required specifications.
  • To assist with Internal Audits & GMP audit ensuring standards and systems are working correctly.
  • To ensure accurate checking of codes/dates/labels, sleeves and packaging etc and action any discrepancies identified to ensure accurate release by the QA department.
  • To carry out Glass and Brittle Plastic audits weekly.
  • Morning stock checking – to ensure that the stock issues/quality feedback has been addressed to the Managers.
  • To communicate any issues with the QA Manager immediately.
  • Always ensure you adhere to company procedures, policies and guidelines
  • Ensure good working relationships are maintained with the Production team.
  • Laboratory sampling – once per month sampling for Pesticides and Microbiological testing.
  • To ensure Health & Safety, HACCP, TACCP requirements are met.
  • To be able to provide quality comments and feedback to suppliers and customers.
  • To maintain accuracy in the completion of record keeping systems - both manual and computerised where applicable
  • To monitor product with regard to shelf life/quality and trials and document accordingly and in line with customer specifications.
  • QA experience within FMCG is essential.

This is a full time position working 5 days in 7 with 2 days off per week.
