Job Information

As an Operative you will assist in maintaining healthy plants and produce, harvest and pack quality crops within the relevant legal requirements working within our Glasshouse environment. 

We have various shifts available, please enquire if you are looking for work.

Salary: £10.00 per hour and £12.50 overtime rate.

Benefits include free car parking, pension contributions and onsite canteen to name a few. All PPE will be provided. 

To be considered you must be able to demonstrate a good standard of written and spoken English however, training will also be considered, 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• To ensure that all practices and procedures executed on the nursery comply with all statutory legislation with regards to food safety and hygiene.
• To carry out all tasks safely, with minimum risk, in accordance with the company Health and Safety regulations.
• To maintain the highest level of workmanship, ensuring good plant health and a quality product.
• To carry out duties maximising quality and efficiency at all times.
• To achieve specified production rates at all times.
• To carry out all operational tasks accurately and consistently, as and when necessary.
• To monitor and report as per Quality Procedures any signs of pests, diseases and disorders on products.
• To maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene at all times, which includes making your work areas are cleaned after completing your work in that area.
